چکیده

Abstract. Fix a strictly increasing right continuous with left limits function W : R → R and a smooth function Φ : [l, r] → R, defined on some interval [l, r] of R, such that 0 < b ≤ Φ ≤ b. We prove that the evolution, on the diffusive scale, of the empirical density of exclusion processes, with conductances given by W , is described by the weak solutions of the non-linear differential equation ∂tρ = (d/dx)(d/dW )Φ(ρ). We derive some properties of the operator (d/dx)(d/dW ) and prove uniqueness of weak solutions of the previous non-linear differential equation.

Hydrodynamic Behavior of One Dimensional Subdiffusive Exclusion Processes with Random Conductances

Abstract. Consider a system of particles performing nearest neighbor random walks on the lattice Z under hard–core interaction. The rate for a jump over a given bond is direction–independent and the inverse of the jump rates are i.i.d. random variables belonging to the domain of attraction of an α– stable law, 0 < α < 1. This exclusion process models conduction in strongly disordered one-dimens...

Exclusion process for particles of arbitrary extension : Hydrodynamic limit and algebraic properties

The behaviour of extended particles with exclusion interaction on a one-dimensional lattice is investigated. The basic model is called ℓ-ASEP as a generalization of the asymmetric exclusion process (ASEP) to particles of arbitrary length ℓ. Stationary and dynamical properties of the ℓ-ASEP with periodic boundary conditions are derived in the hydrodynamic limit from microscopic properties of the...

About Hydrodynamic Limit of Some Exclusion Processes via Functional Integration

This article considers some classes of models dealing with the dynamics of discrete curves subjected to stochastic deformations. It turns out that the problems of interest can be set in terms of interacting exclusion processes, the ultimate goal being to derive hydrodynamic limits after proper scalings. A seemingly new method is proposed, which relies on the analysis of specific partial differe...

Hydrodynamics for a Non-conservative Interacting Particle System

We obtain the hydrodynamic limit of one-dimensional interacting particle systems describing the macroscopic evolution of the density of mass in infinite volume from the microscopic dynamics. The processes are weak pertubations of the symmetric exclusion process by shift operators describing the spread of particles around positions where new sites are created.

Hydrodynamic profiles for the totally asymmetric exclusion process with a slow bond 2000

We study a totally asymmetric simple exclusion process where jumps happen at rate one, except at the origin where the rate is lower. We prove a hydro-dynamic scaling limit to a macroscopic profile described by a variational formula. The limit is valid for all values of the slow rate. The only assumption required is that a law of large numbers holds for the initial particle distribution. This in...
